Beginners
- the first lesson is absolutely mandatory - at this lesson you will discuss equipment you will require. Basic skills will be taught during first four classes - you must be able to attend these four classes.
DRAWING & PAINTING BASIC
An introduction to fundamentals with emphasis on seeing as the artist sees; discussion of structure, mass, outline and volume of form; transparent & opaque mediums will be used individually and in combination (mixed media.) Min. of 9 students required.

A fun, low impact exercise class with some dance elements throw in for fun. Great music, great workout including the use of various resistance equipment, and a dynamic cool down and stretch.

low-bounce, fun-filled exercise class to great music, with a little floor work thrown in on Tuesdays! This one hour class will keep you moving and grooving; twice a week.
FLEX, STRETCH & STRENGTHEN
Listen to a variety of great music while using
dynabands and various weights to get stronger while sitting on and standing by a chair. Soothing stretching and deep breathing to increase flexibility and reduce stress. Use it, so you don’t lose it—and have fun at the same time!

Yoga is a small intimate Hatha yoga in the style. Classes are non-competitive and respectful of the body exactly as it is. Postures are appropriate to all levels and ages and are adapted to each individual. Yoga postures, breathing exercises and relaxation will be taught in each class. You are invited to work at your own pace. Benefits for those over 50 include removing stiffness and tension from the body, restoring vitality and strength, improving balance, flexibility and coordination, and improves concentration, reduces stress and teaches the body mind to be quiet and at peace.

DRIVER’S SEMINAR / TESTING

Seminars are held at the Senior Centre at least twice a month. YOU must call
MTO at 1-800-396-4233 to book your place yourself. Seminar is approximately 90 minutes, and there is also a written test and a vision test during your stay. These seminars fill quickly so make sure you call at least
six weeks prior to the expiry of your
license - even earlier is best. Normally these seminars are the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month.
55 ALIVE DRIVER RETRAINING
This is a great in-class driver-refresher course for anyone, but especially if you’re looking at having to write a test.
